All About Racing

Mountain bike racing is a great way to push your limits, have fun, and learn new skills. Often when you are out of your comfort zone, that's when the greatest lessons are learned. Below is information to help set you up for a successful race day.

Race Day

  • Plan to arrive 1.5-2 hours at the venue prior to your race start

  • Eat a good meal 3 hours before your race start. This should consist of foods that you are familiar with and know you can easily digest.

  • A couple of hours out, have a light snack.

  • Keep drinking water the whole time.

  • Around 45 min. before your race start warming up
